Tabindah Barlas

ASSOCIATE LAWYER 

 

Tabindah is an associate lawyer at AP Lawyers. She has recently moved from Sarnia, Ontario where she was employed at a boutique law firm, practicing solely in Family Law.

Tabindah graduated from University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology. She attended and graduated from law school from Lansing, Michigan. She was called to Bar by the Law Society of Ontario in 2018.

Prior to joining AP Lawyers, Tabindah worked for the First Nation where she gained experience in Aboriginal Law including, Employment, Corporate Law, Labour and Civil Law, and acted as agent for Band Representative on various Child Youth Family Services Act related matters.  She founded her passion in Family Law and has since practiced primarily in this area.

In addition to English, Tabindah speaks Urdu and Hindi and can provide legal services in either of these languages.

In her spare time, Tabindah enjoys travelling, practising Yoga, baking and reading. Tabindah has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, which has required her to travel to meet her obligations.
