Angela Princewill
Angela Princewill is the founding lawyer of AP Lawyers, a law firm serving Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area. Angela founded AP Lawyers in 2014 with a goal of redefining the practice of law. The vision was to abandon the old practice and ways of doing things and empower clients to make informed decisions in resolving disputes quickly and cost effectively.
Angela recognized that parties often had creative settlement solutions and she empowered clients to reach the best possible decision for themselves, without taking the old approach of the lawyers controlling the entire process. In redefining the practice of law, Angela recognizes that not all clients require full legal representation and with a team of brilliant legal minds, they created the one of a kind value-billing-option, only offered by AP Lawyers.
Angela’s practice is primarily focused on Family Law. She is a mediator, collaborative family lawyer and experienced trial lawyer. Angela a fierce advocate in representing her clients’ interests however, she takes a balanced approach to dispute resolution. She gives honest advice to her clients and utilizes every legal tool including alternative dispute resolution, to achieve her clients’ goals. Legal issues can be very stressful for clients, so she makes navigating the legal maze as simple as possible.
Angela attended the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. She is recognized by Best Lawyers™ as one of the best lawyers in Canada in Family Law. She is recognized as one of the top family lawyers in the Durham Region and has been featured multiple times on National TV and in national publications.
